

In the movie,Austrian director Ulrich Seidl traces parallel, tough paths for Olga, an Ucranian woman who leaves her child to her mother to go to work in the geriatric ward of an Austrian hospital and Paul, an Austrian young man, who, after being fired decides to start a new life and leaves with his father for the East. Both Olga and Paul will have to cope with a world taken by indifference, materialism, sex, and death. The film has been presented in competition at 2007 Cannes Film festival.
